There’s a 55+ club in del tura fort myers, Florida (US).

So what?— you might ask. Well, there is a Robocitan — a 55+ Robocitan — who fell in love with golf and senior clubs, who wants to go spending two weeks in Florida this summer and get the best sports training possible: Kup.

Kup was the robot who approached me today after lunch, in the meeting room, to ask whether I’d like to go with him and keep him company. He’s nice and safe, he swore, and I have nothing to worry about and all to gain. He laughed out loud and I laughed too, but— seriously?!

I hardly earn enough money to pay my tuition!

I trust Kup, he’s a good friend and he’s like a grandfather to me, but I don’t think I’d have a good time there… I mean, I’m only 21, he and his friends are over 55. There’s no way I could find the place entertaining for my age range. Also, I think I know another person (and a friend of Kup’s) who may be interested in going to Florida: our head chef and gardener, Unicron Spacey.

Unicron definitely needs some relax.

He’s a super-busy guy and he could really use a 40,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with a 27-Hole golf course, a trendy pub and the possibility to dedicate time to some of his favorite hobbies, like shuffleboard and ceramics.

Unicron is a wonderful robot, he’s also like a grandfather to most of us young —orphan— Robocitans, he’s a man of word and a sensible person. He would be a perfect travel mate to Kup.

I’m gonna tell him tomorrow!

P.S. I’m courting Zetter Calistos. Yeah– would you have ever imagined? ^///^ I feel super shy… but I can’t help trying a little. Just a little, really. Perhaps he didn’t notice, uhm… a part of me hopes so.

From whom? Oh well, he’s a handsome Robocitan. Ahah! Zetter Calistos is the name. We have another Zetter here in town so I need to say the last name, heh.

So, he got me this beautiful meditation aid. The Tibetan singing bown produces very sweet sounds, relaxing. Its white body is also resting for the eye. Honestly, I don’t know if Zetter C. is wanting to join the meditations one of these days, but perhaps I may ask him too… Crazy, huh? It’s as if I like him too! XD Ahah! LOL. I hope he doesn’t read this post, hehe.

A friend of mine – Faleia is the name, a fellow Robocitan – suggested I buy tickets for the Red Storm Mens or the Orangemen so she can join in the travel/vacation, but I need to check out prices and see what I can and cannot afford. Uhm. Well, if she offers to pay her part, I’m totally okay with it. I appreciate the company.

That’s also the right moment to look for a cheap car insurance that would cover expenses abroad. I need to tell Faleia about that, but I guess she won’t have a problem, and better – I think she knows where we could get a cheap car insurance quote, hehe.

I was like: “Huh?! O_O”. I thanked that good woman for her kind thought, but really, that stuff really does not interest me and anyway health careers are not something I’m cut for. I’m more the Literature/Arts student (which indeed I am!).

Also, I think I want to further my studies — online. Yes guys, I’m a supporter of online education, especially for those who – like me – can rely on a very short budget with no chance to pay means of transport back and forth to university, or gas. Right now, I do attend university classes 2-3 times a week, but sometimes it’s 4-5 times a month, when my money goes too far below the safety line. Online education helps cutting all that cost.

Of course, there’s always a con, which is having to commute for long hours on exam days and not having a face-to-face communication with teachers. But I can survive that, really.

I want to take an online master in Modern Literature and Media on 2016.

One of my fellow Robocitans, Faleia Indeska, is planning to book consol energy center tickets anytime soon and go to the US to assist at her favourite band’s concert this summer. Oh, I envy her a bit. I wish I could get my hands on pittsburgh penguins tickets or NHL tickets and go watch a hockey match! I wish I weren’t so poor, but well… dreaming at least is affordable for everyone, isn’t it? ^^

Anyway, if you’re into it too, Ticketamerica.com has tickets for the pittsburgh penguins the Consol Energy Center and all other NHL tickets. That’s where Faleia is getting her tickets.

I have found a new job as a cashier (a stable one, this time!) at a supermarket last month, and that certainly did allow for little time other than studying. At least my financial issues are nothing but a bad memory now, and I no longer need to worry about getting the money to pay my university fees, and I can also afford food and beverages, as well as paying my own electricity bills, without having to rely always on the community resources of Robocity.

I have recently discovered a new hobby too: going at the university library every day. It costs nothing, and I can read for hours, undisturbed. I only wish the library was open for longer hours, after 6PM, but I can be content with what I have. Isn’t that the secret to happiness?

And now… blog-hop time!

~ I have found a small part time job, as a substitute cashier, and I threw myself in it to earn as much money as possible, to pay my studies. I don’t work there anymore by now, I’m looking for another job. But I managed to earn €300 and that’s very good to pay my books and my taxes.

~ My Christmas week was spent working and hanging out with my new Robocity friends. We had no cash to buy each other presents, but we had fun watching movies at home, playing cards, reading and chit-chatting. The simple joys, you know.

~ I have planned some new contents for this site, but offline. I like working on paper, before I put everything on screen. I’m kind of old-style, but I like that. I think of it as a characteristic trait of my persona.

~ I have helped out in Robocity, in every way I could. From printing brochures, to distributing papers, to getting post from the mailbox, to clean our public locals. I think this city can be improved a good deal if each and every of us did a little effort to help others. It’s the Robocity spirit. Too bad sometimes we forget about it.

With all that, I’m back. Happy 2011!!!

First of all, I lost my job. The pet shop owner told me he could not keep a worker that gave him no stable presence during the week, and even though I told him I would still work all week and only go to university for exams, he was unmovable on his decision. I’m broken now, and I really don’t know the heck I will manage to pay university fees next year. I’m actively looking for a job since the first week of October, but I had no luck until now.

Site-wise, I got delayed with adding new pages, and I really wish I had the mood to write more. Thank you to everyone who accepted to affiliate/exchange links with me: I will be around, just not as happily as I wished to be.

July the 2nd, 2010, is an important memorial day to me: my first site was born! =] Thanks to Marina and to her beautiful domain, TeaKandi.com, I was able to give life to my little online diary, a place that I hope to make grow and become a delightful little ‘tea corner’ (don’t we drink tea and chat online too? ^^).
